New Jersey High School Baseball - Hammonton holds off Egg Harbor Township

Hammonton Blue Devils (Hammonton, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Egg Harbor Township Eagles (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), 6-2 in a league test.

With the win, Hammonton upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Blue Devils host Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 3. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 3-7. Mainland Regional lost 9-4 in their recent non-league test against St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ)

With the defeat, Egg Harbor Township falls to 8-5 on the season. The Eagles host Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ) to battle the Irish in a non-league test on Saturday, May 6. The Irish come into the test with a record of 5-1.
