North Carolina High School Baseball - Elkin can't hold off South Stokes

In Monday's league game, the host South Stokes Sauras baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Elkin Buckin' Elks.

The Buckin' Elks (7-14) will now prepare for their game against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the Northwest 1A game with a 13-11 record. In their last game, Mount Airy tipped Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 10-0, in a league game.
