New York High School Baseball - Iona Prep defeats Fordham Prep

Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY), 7-2 in a league test.

With the win, Iona Prep upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Gaels host Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 3. The Lions come into the test with a record of 4-3.

With the defeat, Fordham Prep falls to 3-7 on the season. The Rams travel to Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY) to battle the Cardinals in a Catholic AA - Bronx/Manhattan test on Thursday, May 4. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 2-6.
