The Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets to 5 in the Cougars league victory on Monday.
The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Plainview-Elgin-Millville was edged by Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN), 4-1, in a league match.
The Komets (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Byron (Byron, MN). The Bears go into the Hiawatha Valley match with a 6-2 record.
