The Southeast Halifax Trojans baseball team (Halifax, NC), was overwhelmed 24-20 in Monday's league outing with the visiting KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC)
The Pride now hold a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Halifax for a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Tuesday, May 2. KIPP Pride will face a Vikings team coming off a 26-0 league win over Weldon (Weldon, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-3.
Next, the Trojans face the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A outing, on Wednesday, May 3. Southeast Halifax will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 13-1 record after their 17-2 league win over Warren County (Warrenton, NC).
