The Cranston East Thunderbolts held off the host Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Thunderbolts now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chariho for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 3.
The Mounties (0-5) will now prepare for their test against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers enter the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, East Greenwich was nudged by La Salle Academy (Providence, RI), 2-0, in a non-league test.
