St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Cadets battle the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Fairfield County match, on Thursday, May 4. St. Joseph will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Darien (Darien, CT).

With the loss, Danbury drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Hatters travel to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to battle the Eagles in a Fairfield County match on Wednesday, May 3. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 12-1. Trumbull won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Warde (Fairfield, CT)
