The crowd at Monday's league test between the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) and the host North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC), saw East Lincoln's soccer squad knock off North Iredell by a margin of 3-1.

The Mustangs now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Lincoln for a Western Foothills 3A test on Thursday, May 4. East Lincoln will meet a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, North Iredell drops to 6-10 on the season. The Raiders host West Iredell (Statesville, NC) to meet the Warriors in a Western Foothills 3A test on Thursday, May 4. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 4-12. West Iredell lost 2-0 in their recent league test against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
