In Monday's league battle, the visiting Glenwood Titans soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the Springfield Southeast Spartans.
The Titans (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Alton (Alton, IL). The Redbirds go into the non-league battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Alton notched a victory over Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers go into the Central State Eight battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Normal University was overwhelmed by Belleville West (Belleville, IL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
