The Battlefield Bobcats softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Kettle Run Cougars to 4 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Battlefield improves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Bobcats host Freedom (South Riding, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, May 4. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 3-4.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 3. Kettle Run will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 7-9 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Millbrook (Winchester, VA).
