Virginia High School Soccer - Riverheads nudges Galileo

The Riverheads Gladiators soccer team scored 2 points and limited the host Galileo Falcons to 1 in the Gladiators non-league victory on Monday.

Next, the Gladiators face the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a Shenandoah contest, on Friday, May 5. Riverheads will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 3-7 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).

The Falcons now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nelson County for a Dogwood contest on Wednesday, May 3. Galileo will face a Governors team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Governors record now stands at 5-2.
