Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 8-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Davidson for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Central Davidson will battle a Black Knights squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Asheboro falls to 1-18 on the campaign.
