North Carolina High School Softball - Clinton thwarted by Midway

The Clinton Dark Horses softball team (Clinton, NC), was routed 16-1 in Monday's league test with the visiting Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC)

Coming up next, the Raiders clash with the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a Southeastern Athletic 2A test, on Tuesday, May 2. Midway will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 14-5 record after their 12-1 league win over St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC).

The Dark Horses (2-16) will now prepare for their test against East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Gators come into the non-league test with a 20-2 record. In their last test, East Columbus overcame West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 18-0, in a league test.
