The Dixon Rams softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Mira Loma Matadors to 0 in the Rams league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Dixon improves its record to 17-6 on the year. The Rams travel to Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA) to clash with the Knights in a Golden Empire League game on Wednesday, May 3. The Knights come into the game with a record of 13-8. Rio Linda won 13-0 in their recent non-league game against Johnson (Sacramento, CA)

In their next game, the Matadors clash with the Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) in a Golden Empire League game, on Wednesday, May 3. Mira Loma will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 16-4 record after their 9-3 league win over Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA).
