The Hancock County Indians softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Hampton Bulldogs to 3 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Hancock County improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Indians travel to West Greene (Mosheim, TN) to clash with the Buffaloes in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 2. The Buffaloes come into the game with a record of 0-14. West Greene lost 7-3 in their recent non-league game against Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the University Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) in a 1A District 1 game, on Thursday, May 4. Hampton will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Buccaneers come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 13-3 league loss to Hampton (Hampton, TN).
