Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jemison Panthers (Jemison, AL), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Aggies now own a 17-14 record. They take the field next when they host Shelby County for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. Sylacauga will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Verbena (Verbena, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, Jemison falls to 4-16 on the campaign.
