The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) softball the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY), 3-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Crusaders (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Bushmen go into the non-league bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Pine Bush by Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY), 12-3, in a non-league bout.

The Goldbacks now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Middletown for a Orange County Division I bout on Tuesday, May 2.
