The Weed Cougars softball team (Weed, CA), was routed 16-4 in Monday's league test with the host Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA)
Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Etna Lions (Etna, CA) in a Shasta Cascade test, on Friday, May 5. Mt. Shasta will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 10-9 record after their 9-8 league win over Fall River (McArthur, CA).
The Cougars (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Braves come into the Shasta Cascade test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Modoc was routed by Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA), 15-11, in a non-league test.
