In Monday's non-league contest, the Nauset Regional Warriors (North Eastham, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host St. John Paul II Lions (Hyannis, MA), by a tally of 16-2.
The Warriors now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monomoy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3.
With the loss, St. John Paul II falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Martha's Vineyard Regional (Oak Bluffs, MA) to battle the Vineyarders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Vineyarders enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
