The Parry McCluer Fighting Blues the host Rockbridge County Wildcats softball squad by a count of 10-7 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Fighting Blues (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs go into the Pioneer battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Eastern Montgomery was routed by Craig County (New Castle, VA), 8-3, in a league battle.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Alleghany for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 4. Rockbridge County will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Covington (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 8-4.
