Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 17-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastside for a Cumberland challenge on Thursday, May 4. Rye Cove will face a Spartans squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to J.I. Burton (Norton, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Twin Springs falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Castlewood (Castlewood, VA) to face the Blue Devils in a Cumberland challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Castlewood lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA)
