With the win, Holy Cross upgrades its record to 10-17 on the season. The Indians host Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY) to battle the Colonels in a District 35 test on Thursday, May 2. The Colonels come into the test with a record of 21-1. Covington Catholic won 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY)

With the defeat, Boone County falls to 7-16 on the season. The Rebels travel to Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-16.
