In Wednesday's league game, the host Franklin County Flyers baseball team scored a tight 8-5 victory over the Great Crossing .
The Flyers (12-13) will now prepare for their game against Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 12-8 record.
The (17-5) will now prepare for their game against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 17-9 record. In their last game, Lexington Catholic tipped Tates Creek (Lexington, KY), 7-0, in a league game.
