Maine High School Baseball - Waynflete loses to Sacopee Valley

In Wednesday's league game, the host Sacopee Valley Hawks baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Waynflete Flyers.
The Hawks (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME). The Mustangs go into the Class C South game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Monmouth Academy tipped Madison (Madison, ME), 17-0, in a league game.
The Flyers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Maine Central Institute was overwhelmed by Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 18-1, in a league game.
