The Smyrna Eagles volleyball team (Smyrna, DE), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE)

The Riders (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Newark (Newark, DE). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Newark was dropped by Middletown (Middletown, DE), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Dover Senators (Dover, DE) in a Henlopen North challenge, on Friday, May 3. Smyrna will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Senators enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE).
