The Homestead Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Monta Vista Matadors to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now have a 16-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harker for a SCVAL - De Anza game on Friday, May 3. Homestead will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cupertino (Cupertino, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 24-9.

The Matadors (15-13) will now prepare for their game against Mountain View (Mountain View, CA). The Spartans enter the SCVAL - De Anza game with a 5-25 record. In their last game, Mountain View dropped by Lynbrook (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
