The St. John-Vianney Lancers held off the host Marlboro Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Lancers now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Regional for a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. St. John-Vianney will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-0 league win over Toms River South (Toms River, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 13-2.

The Mustangs (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ). The Cougars enter the Shore - A North test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Colts Neck held off Middletown South (Middletown, NJ), 2-0, in a league test.
