The New Hanover Wildcats got by the host Ashley Screaming Eagle lacrosse team by a score of 10-9 in Wednesday's non-league match.
With the win, New Hanover upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to play the Pirates in a non-league match on Friday, May 3. The Pirates go into the match with a record of 18-0. Topsail won 17-0 in their recent league match against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)
With the defeat, Ashley drops to 8-9 on the season.
