Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Adams Highlanders (Rochester, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 3. Dakota will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI).

The Crusaders now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Romeo for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6.
