The Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC) soccer bounced the host Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC), 4-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the victory, Lejeune moves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Devil Pups host East Carteret (Beaufort, NC) to confront the Mariners in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A bout on Wednesday, May 8. The Mariners enter the bout with a record of 11-2.
In their next game, the Seahawks confront the North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 2. Southside will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 4-11 record after their 5-1 league loss to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC).
