California High School Baseball - Calaveras wallops Argonaut

Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Calaveras Red Hawks (San Andreas, CA) and the visiting Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA), saw Calaveras's baseball squad knock off Argonaut by a count of 16-6.

Coming up next, the Red Hawks play the Bret Harte Bullfrogs (Angels Camp, CA) in a battle, on Friday, May 3. Calaveras will attempt to move on its 12-7 season record. The Bullfrogs enter the battle with a 3-13 record after their 14-4 league loss to Sonora (Sonora, CA).

The Mustangs now possess a 3-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amador for a battle on Friday, May 3. Argonaut will play a Buffaloes squad coming off a 15-7 league win over Summerville (Tuolumne, CA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 16-6.
