In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 14-9.

Coming up next, the Cavaliers confront the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 4. Cuthbertson will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 14-5 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).

The Sabres now own a 10-10 record.
