In Wednesday's league test, the visiting Steamboat Springs Sailors lacrosse squad scored a good 13-5 victory over the Eagle Valley Devils.
The Sailors now have a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Battle Mountain for a 4A Western test on Friday, May 3. Steamboat Springs will face a Huskies squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO). The Huskies record now stands at 12-1.
In their next game, the Devils face the Montrose Red Hawks (Montrose, CO) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 3. Eagle Valley will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Red Hawks come into the test with a 1-11 record after their 16-0 league loss to Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO).
