In Wednesday's league contest, the Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) lacrosse squad nipped the host Grand Island Vikings (Grand Island, NY), by a count of 11-10.

Coming up next, the Flames confront the Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY) in a Class C contest, on Friday, May 3. Williamsville East will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record.

The Vikings now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Seneca East for a Class C contest on Friday, May 3. Grand Island will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 19-5 non-league win over St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 5-5.
