Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting North Warren Regional Patriots (Blairstown, NJ), 15-5 in a league test.
The Braves now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kittatinny Regional for a non-league test on Friday, May 3. Newton will face a Cougars squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-9.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 3. North Warren Regional will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record.
