North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI), 9-5 in a league battle.

The Northmen now have a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host East Providence for a Division 4 battle on Friday, May 3. North Smithfield will clash with a Townies squad coming off a 11-4 league loss to Rogers (Newport, RI). The Townies record now stands at 3-8.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) in a Division 4 battle, on Saturday, May 4. Tiverton will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record.
