Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lancers confront the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) in a National challenge, on Tuesday, May 7. Lewis will attempt to move on its 11-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 4-3 league loss to Annandale (Annandale, VA).
The Colonials now possess a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Falls Church for a National challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-2 league win over Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-1.
