Ohio High School Softball - Big Walnut bounces Westerville South

The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) and the visiting Westerville South Wildcats (Westerville, OH), saw Big Walnut's softball squad nip Westerville South by a count of 10-4.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Worthington Christian for a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. Big Walnut will face a Warriors squad coming off a 18-11 league win over Bexley (Columbus, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Westerville South falls to 3-18 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bexley (Columbus, OH) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. The Lions enter the match with a record of 3-20. Bexley lost 18-11 in their recent league match against Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH)
