Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) and the host Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY), witnessed Bracken County's softball squad tip Campbell County by a count of 14-7.

The Polar Bears now sport a 19-6 record. They play next when they host Scott for a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. Bracken County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Campbell County moves to 9-6 on the season. The Camels host Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY) to face the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Lions enter the test with a record of 9-9. Lewis County lost 7-4 in their recent league test against Greenup County (Greenup, KY)
