Malden Golden Tornados (Malden, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Chelsea Red Devils (Chelsea, MA), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Golden Tornados now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Medford for a Greater Boston challenge on Thursday, May 2. Malden will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-6 league win over Revere (Revere, MA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Chelsea falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Lynn Vo-Tech (Lynn, MA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
