The Chimacum Cowboys softball team scored 31 runs and limited the host Vashon Island Pirates to 21 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Chimacum moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Cowboys host Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 5-4. Seattle Christian lost 7-6 in their recent league game against Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA)

In their next game, the Pirates play the Klahowya Eagles (Silverdale, WA) in a 1A Nisqually game, on Friday, May 3. Vashon Island will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 11-4 record after their 16-9 league loss to Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA).
