St. Saviour Panda Bears (Brooklyn, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY), 22-10 in a league challenge.

The Panda Bears now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Nazareth for a non-league match on Thursday, May 2.

With the loss, Christ the King moves to 1-2 on the season. The Royals host St. John's Prep (Astoria, NY) to meet the Red Storm in a Catholic Brooklyn/Queens II match on Friday, May 3. The Red Storm go into the match with a record of 1-0. St. John's Prep won 18-4 in their recent non-league match against Holy Cross (Flushing, NY)
