New York High School Softball - Valley Central bounces Cornwall Central

May 1, 2024: New Windsor, NY 12553

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) and the host Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY), witnessed Valley Central's softball squad prevail over Cornwall Central by a count of 11-0.

The Vikings now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Goshen Central for a non-league match on Friday, May 3. Valley Central will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Wallkill (Wallkill, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Cornwall Central moves to 5-7 on the season. The Dragons travel to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY) to face the Wizards in a non-league match on Friday, May 3. The Wizards go into the match with a record of 1-11. Washingtonville lost 4-3 in their recent league match against Monticello (Monticello, NY)
