Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), 13-4 in a league challenge.

The Wolfpack now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scranton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Wilkes-Barre will face a Knights squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Knights record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Crestwood falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 9-4. Tunkhannock lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Pittston (Pittston, PA)
