Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 15-10 record. They take the field next when they host Campbellsville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Cumberland County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Glasgow falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Scotties host Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 11-11. Edmonson County won 8-3 in their recent league challenge against Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY)
