California High School Softball - Delhi knocked off by Mariposa County

In Wednesday's league contest, the Mariposa County Grizzlies (Mariposa, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Delhi Hawks (Delhi, CA), by a margin of 19-1.

With the triumph, Mariposa County moves its record to 13-9 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Orestimba (Newman, CA) to play the Warriors in a Southern Athletic League contest on Tuesday, May 7. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 17-6. Orestimba won 13-3 in their recent league contest against Waterford (Waterford, CA)

In their next game, the Hawks play the Le Grand Bulldogs (Le Grand, CA) in a Southern Athletic League contest, on Tuesday, May 7. Delhi will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 18-2 record after their 8-0 league win over Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA).
