The Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) softball the visiting Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL), 10-8 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Minutemen (12-13) will now prepare for their bout against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Cyclones go into the non-league bout with a 8-8 record. In their last bout, Sacred Heart-Griffin held off Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL), 24-0, in a league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 5-18 record. They play next when they travel to Hartsburg-Emden for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 2.
