Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Wood for a Northwestern challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Fauquier will face a Colonels squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Warren County falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Strasburg (Strasburg, VA) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 12-3. Strasburg won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Clarke County (Berryville, VA)
