The Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) softball routed the visiting Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA), 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Trailblazers (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Wildcats go into the Valley bout with a 3-10 record. In their last bout, Rockbridge County notched a victory over Staunton (Staunton, VA), 10-0, in a non-league bout.

The Indians now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Riverheads for a Shenandoah bout on Monday, May 6. Fort Defiance will confront a Gladiators squad coming off a 11-5 league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 7-7.
