The Smethport Hubbers softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Galeton Tigers to 2 in the Hubbers league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Smethport moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Hubbers travel to Elk County Catholic (St. Marys, PA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league game on Friday, May 10. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 9-4.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA) in a North Tier game, on Thursday, May 2. Galeton will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 9-3 record after their 12-1 league win over Coudersport (Coudersport, PA).
